Hornady's introduction of its Lever Evolution soft-tipped bullets now makes the old lever gun much more versatile, with greater accurate range, and capable of so much more. Kilimanjaro Rifles has heeded the call. We are proud to offer our full custom improved version of the Lever-Action Rifle to the same standards of quality, beauty and excellence of our flagship Kilimanjaro Rifle. As with our other fine wood-stocked rifles, the Kilimanjaro Lever-Action Custom Rifle is custom hand-carved and hand-crafted to be handed down generation to generation. It features a fully customized two-piece stock fit precisely to your specifications, dimensions and desires – All Custom, All The Time. Starting from your choice of a straight-comb or Hunter style Monte Carlo comb, we then customize the rifle stock to your individual specifications.

Diamond Fleur Wrap-Around Checkering:

The Kilimanjaro Lever-Action Custom Rifle includes our trademark Diamond Fleur Wrap-Around Checkering—all done by hand—as standard, but with other checkering patterns available as options.

Museum Grade Wood Finish:

Our Museum Grade wood finish is the finest and most beautiful in the industry, and is designed specifically for rugged field use. This finest finish procedure, achieved during our extensive research and development efforts, requires no less than two months of effort from start to finish. You may specify high lustre, moderate lustre or satin finish.

Exact Wood To Metal Fit:

Our fine Circassian Walnut stocks are precisely fitted to and mated with the action and barrel by hand in this most time consuming step of the production process, and is key to meeting our stringent accuracy standards.

Action:

The Kilimanjaro Lever-Action Custom Rifle starts with the trusted Marlin action which we extensively re-work, re-shape and refine to craft into a more elegant and smoother action with improved extractor, upgraded trigger, and a Kilimanjaro-designed low profile lever pin removable by hand, allowing quick disassembly and assembly in the field without tools.

Chambering:

Available in all suitable lever-action cartridges (including the new 338 Marlin Express), but 30-30 of course remains our favorite.

Barrel:

A match grade stainless steel barrel to your specification of length, contour, twist and crown is included from your choice of barrel makers. We utilize only the highest grade of barrels from the most quality conscious barrel makers like Pac Nor, Douglas, Shilen, Lilja and Krieger, but every barrel goes through our own independent testing for verification of accuracy and consistency.

Sights & Scope Mount:

Ghost ring rear sight with fiber-optic front sight is standard, but your choice of sighting systems. A scope mount rail with Leupold QRW quick detachable rings for mounting of either a regular scope or a mid-barrel quick acquisition Scout scope is also standard, giving you the choice of iron sights or scope on a moment's notice.

Ceramic Metal Coating:

Kilimanjaro's premium ceramic metal coating is standard in your choice of colors, providing excellent metal and corrosion protection in an elegant non-glare finish for field use. Other metal finishes are available on request, including color-case hardening, bluing, and bead blast finishes.

Quality Assurance, Testing & Load Development:

Rigorous quality assurance throughout the production process is provided with multiple pre-final and final tests. Full barrel conditioning (break-in) and load development with test target and ballistic chart for the recommended load are standard.

Delivery Package:

Kilimanjaro Rifles Deluxe Delivery Package is standard including a custom Pelican 1750 or Boyt double rifle hard case, with a premium Kilimanjaro ballistic nylon soft case by Elite Survival Systems fitted in the lid, and a special Kilimanjaro ballistic nylon bolt & accessory pouch. Your custom rifle arrives ready to hunt and packed ready for the plane to your hunting destination.

Other Features:

The Kilimanjaro Lever-Action Custom Rifle also comes standard with Ebony or Ironwood grip cap, Dakota style in-let rear swivel stud, and a Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad in your choice of thickness.
