Kilimanjaro's Stockworks offers you the excellence and beauty of our hand-crafted walnut stocks with our proprietary Stealth Lamination for your existing rifle or barreled-action. As with the stocks on our Kilimanjaro and Serengeti Rifles, your new exhibition quality stock will be hand-carved and hand-crafted to be handed down generation to generation. Starting from your choice of one of our six most popular standard stock geometries as offered on our New Serengeti Rifle, we then customize that geometry for either a Monte Carlo or straight American comb, custom length of pull, and right or left hand configuration. A full custom stock precisely to your individual specifications such as is offered on our Kilimanjaro Rifle is available as an option.

Stealth Lamination:

Our proprietary Stealth Lamination provides greater strength and stability while preserving the full figure, grain and beauty of the wood. It provides a solid wood stock with all the stability of a synthetic stock, but with the beauty and superior feel of highly figured real wood. You may also choose an un-laminated solid wood stock if you prefer.

AAA Grade American Walnut Stock:

We choose your wood blank from our selection of the finest AAA grade American Walnut. Based on the geometry you select, your stock is carved and inlet using our new precision equipment. As with all of Kilimanjaro's rifles, however, the final shaping and fitting is still done by hand under the supervision of our Master Gunsmith. As an option, you may select an upgrade to any of our Special Select Circassian Walnut, Exhibition or Premier wood blanks shown on our Wood Blanks page.

Deluxe Wrap-Around Checkering:

Our deluxe, fine-line wrap-around checkering—all done by hand—is standard. Our trademark Diamond Fleur Wrap-Around Checkering and other checkering patterns are available as options.

Exhibition Grade Wood Finish:

Our Exhibition Grade wood finish is a beautiful but tough wood finish designed specifically for rugged field use. For quality, durability and beauty, it is second in the industry only to our Museum Grade finish which is available as an option.

Exact Wood To Metal Fit:

Our fine walnut stocks are precisely fitted to and mated with the action and barrel by hand in this most time consuming step of the production process, and is key to meeting our stringent accuracy standards.

Quality Assurance:

Rigorous quality assurance throughout the production process is provided with multiple pre-final and final tests, including final accuracy testing.

Delivery Package:

Your Stockworks project is delivered with Kilimanjaro's premium ballistic nylon soft case embroidered with the Kilimanjaro logo, and ready for the rigors of the field.

Other Features:

Stockworks also comes standard with shadow-line cheek piece, Ebony or Ironwood fore-end tip and grip cap, two action cross-bolts with Ebony or Ironwood caps, Dakota style in-let swivel studs, and a Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad in your choice of thickness and color. Many other options are available on request.
